14. Write a letter to someone important in your life.
Dear Michael,
I know I only met you this year at SOAR, but I am so thankful for you being with me in college. I'm glad we bonded automatically and I know there are so many adventures we have yet to go through together. I'm so excited for them. :) You are an absolutely wonderful, amazing, gifted, talented, outgoing, bubbly, strong-willed, beautiful person inside and out, and I am so blessed to call you my best friend. I will always be there for you, my lovely little twin, and I can't wait for you to design my wedding dress and help me plan the entire thing when the day comes! haha :) I love you so so so much, buddy.

15. Whom do you admire the most?
I admire my grandpa...even though I know that oozes with predictability. I don't care what he was to other people (meaning good or bad), because to me, from what my young mind remembers, he was a provider and a very generous man. He loved God, and I often remember him with his Bible in his lap. During his sickness, he stayed strong, at least for me, and showed me what true strength was, no matter how physically weak he got.
16. What are 10 goals in your life?
Let me start by saying I only make goals that I'm not sure wouldn't happen anyway. For example, a few months back, I would've never put "graduate high school", because for me, there was no alternative.
1. get married
2. have children
3. and pets
4. post-marriage but pre-children, get cute little apartment or condo downtown
5. post-children, get cute little house in the suburbs, preferably north/northwest of the city
6. learn how to play guitar and piano
7. become successful in whatever I do
8. find enough time to go to cosmetology school after college
9. travel...anywhere
10. hone photography skills so that I'm actually halfway decent and can capture some memories from said travels
17. What gives you sincere happiness?
Sincere happiness to me is leaning way back in the passenger seat of a good friend's car, bare feet on the dash, windows and hair down, sunglasses on, cruising to an unknown destination in the middle of summer (far too fast) with some overplayed (probably 90s boy band) song blasting so loud I can't hear myself singing it. Lovely.
18. What are the 10 most significant memories in your life?
1. moving to Indiana...and back
2. my grandpa dying
3. moving to the 'burbs/my first day at the biggest high school ever
4. Jake...and the aftermath
5. going to state for poms
6. freshman orientation at DU
7. prom weekend
8. graduation
9. my entire first semester of college as a slideshow of moments
10. all the daydreams I have for my numerous stages of the future, because I spent too much time doing that, and
"Imagining the future is a kind of nostalgia...You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you'll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present."
19. When were the happiest days in your life?
Ughhhh I hate doing this. It's so cliche and annoying, even for me, but if you've read any of my other posts, you should already know what's coming. The happiest days of my life so far were from the end of junior year to the beginning of my senior year. You can fill in the blanks and figure the rest out. Done.
20. If you died tomorrow, what’s one thing you’d regret not doing?
Telling everyone exactly how I feel about each one of them, and not leaving anything to the imagination. I think that covers a lot.
